The story on our back label tells it all. Oakvale Gold Rock wines are produced at the Oakvale Winery, established in and family owned since 1893. Based at the foothills of the Hunter Valley's picturesque Brokenback Range the winery is ideally situated to behold the play of sunlight upon the sandstone ridges of the Brokenback range. This spectacle is the inspiration for the wines that capture the best characteristics of the Hunter Valley's most notable and successful varietals. The back label is neither the product of a creative agency nor a misty eyed romantic. It does, however, capture who we are at Oakvale - a small family owned vineyard and winery dedicated to producing premium estate grown wines.
